When you use our software, app, services or website, we process your personal data. We respect your privacy and ensure that your data is treated carefully. Here we explain what data we collect and why.
“User”, “you” or “your” refers to the person or company using the Half5 software. "We", "us" or "our" refers to the provider of the software. Half5 is part of webRidge located at Nijverheidsweg 1A 4695 RC in Sint-Maartensdijk. webRidge and Half5 are registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 56845367.
Half5 is responsible for the processing of personal data of users and visitors. You are responsible for the processing of your customers' personal data. We act as a processor for data that you record in your administration via links.
Website visit: We collect data such as device, operating system and visiting times for statistical purposes and to improve our website. This data is collected via cookies, as described in our cookie statement.
Contact:When contacted via support or your account, we process your email address, name, browser data and company information to answer your questions.
Registration and subscriptions: When registering, we ask for company name, name and email address. For paid subscriptions and additional services, we process additional company data such as Chamber of Commerce number and bank account number.
Use of Half5: We analyze anonymized data to improve our services and understand usage patterns.
Other purposes: Your data is used for billing and handling complaints and disputes.
We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, such as TLS certificates and firewalls. We use a digital safe for the passwords, which is protected with a master password. We have enabled 2-factor authentication for parties that process data from us.
Within Half5, only employees who need the data for their job have access to your data. We do not share your data with third parties, unless this is legally required or necessary for the performance of our services. We never sell or rent your information to others.
We do not store your data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, taking into account the legal retention periods. For example, we store invoices with your personal data for 10 years for the tax authorities.
